Roamio Pro to Mini hook-up - newb question

I am a total newb when it comes to Tivo (all these terms are hard to figure out) - just switched back after many years (pre-HD).

So... I just bought and installed a TiVo Roamio Pro (3TB) - $500 Amazon - in the Family Room. I have a Comcast TV (Premier TV package with HD and Sports) and Internet (Blast) with a single cable line coming into my house. I used a cable splitter, and split the cable to go to my modem and to the Roamio. Activated Tivo - monthly TiVo now and 30 days to decide on lifetime and have my monthly charge credited. Everything works great (TV and internet).

OK... so I ordered a TiVo Mini ($85 Amazon) - just arrived - and will wait to see if they offer Lifetime service for $50 as speculated before I active. My question is basic (but confusing to me...).

The Mini is intended for the bedroom which has a coaxial cable line (from Direct TV - not Comcast) - my question is... how do I set-up the Mini?

Meaning - it is obvious that I have to split the cable line again - do I use a 1 to 3 splitter (vs the 1:2 splitter I currently have)? Or do I need a MoCa splitter? Where do I make the split?

Make sense?
