Romio remote Apple TV

I know that the older remote with the 1 2 switch can be programmed to control Apple TV on the 2 position.



But I have a romio now and that remote doesn't have the 1 2 switch.



Can the romio remote also control the Apple TV ?



Can it switch without the 1 2 switch ?
