We moved to a new house recently and noticed that several of our regularly watched channels (22 in all) were showing up as unsubscribed. Upon further investigation I found that Cox had set us up with the wrong TV package. They signed us up for TV Preferred rather than Premier. So I thought no big deal, I'll just give them a call and they can upgrade our package to what we had before. So they sent some signals but I've only gained a couple of channels. What's worse is that now we are missing numerous channels that we had prior to calling Cox.
Phone tech support wasn't much help, so I took the advice of another poster and emailed Cox support. They've run me through the standard stuff: Rebooting both my TiVo Premier and Roamio along with both tuning adapters; confirming that my CableCARD s/n's, host ID, etc match what they have in the system; confirming that my tuning adapters are paired to the correct cards. Nothing has worked.
Now they want to send out a technician. Is this the next logical step? All of my subscribed channels were working just 2 days ago. All that we added were a couple movie channels and the sports pack. Now I get a few of the new channels (maybe half?). But we continue to miss several stations that worked fine 2 days ago.
I'd happily take any advice you have to offer.
