I need some help with a weird issue.
I have Series 1 Philips HDR212 without subscription which I've been used for many, many years. Manual Recording worked fine without any problems and suddenly few days ago it became disabled. Every time I try recording manually, it would not let me do it because it is saying that I need a subscription. The box was never plugged to the phone line. (I have problems with time sync because of that) Software version - 3.0.
I tried to find an answer on the forum first but I could not find anything except one idea, without details: "It has probably lost the 'can record' flag"
Reboot did not help.
Any idea about the name of that mysterious flag? (I know how to connect Tivo to PC and I know Linux)
Or any other suggestions?
