I have a 4 tuner Premiere in one room connected to a TV and a Tivo mini and a Comcast cable box in another room. The mini is connected to a TV and the comcast box is connected to a second TV in the same room.
The two rooms share a wall and I have a moca splitter split the incoming cable in two with one cable going to the premier and the other cable going through the wall to another moca splitter with the Tivo Mini connected on one coax and the Comcast box connected on the other.
The two tv's are mounted on the wall. I had the Comcast TV on while I connected and activited the Mini. The comcast TV started pixelating and finally stopped receiving a picture, just the cable guide. The Tivo mini worked fine.
If I disconnect the coax from the mini, the comcast signal is fine.
Comcast came out and said my moca splitters were the problem and put in their splitters and had the same issue. They swapped cable boxes and same issue. They could not fix it.
I also do not have any POE filter installed, but not sure that is the issue.
Note I have a Tivo stream on the moca that works fine.
Other than having Comcast, what am I doing wrong with the setup?
