OK...I will try an be detailed but keep this short.
I have a main DVR box from mediacom with 2 minis. All was working fine, moca enabled, but I discovered my modem was sending wifi, as well as my router. So, I called the company and said hey, i use my own router, how do I turn off the modem from using wifi?
Well they did whatever they do, said they baselined the modem....thats when everything went wrong. My main box can get live tv and dvr but nothing else. tivo mini one, same thing. Tivo mini 2, get no internet or n02 dhcp error.
I had a tech come out today, talked with other support people, they say that if you base line the modem your moca cannot work. He put what he called a dongle on it and it made everything worse!! I do know there is something on the splitter outside.
So basically everything went wrong with the tivos. I do not see thm on my router, not sure if I should?
