I have another Tivo HD which is rebooting. It started about a month ago, but it is getting really bad now, rebooting 3 times in a row when I was trying to watch Monday Night Football. I ran 54 on it last night and it seemed to give the drive a clean bill of health. I tried running 57 on it last week, but it didn't seem to have any effect. I was wondering if anyone had anything they could suggest I could do. I'll probably pull the drive tonight and run tests once I get the Verizon box installed in its place.
To be honest, while I'd like to get this back up and running, I feel like I was probably on borrowed time. Some time ago I tried upgrading my hard drive with a couple of different drives, but I ended up with a similar problem with the Tivo rebooting. Makes me wonder if something (Power supply? Motherboard?) is only just above spec that anything additional causes issues. But, given how much weaKnees charges for parts, it was never worth it for me to throw money at the problem.
