can no longer schedule recordings from iOS app

Hello, I apologize if this has been covered, but after a quick search, I didn't find anything.

I have two TiVo HD boxes--if I understand correctly, these are considered "series 3." I recently discovered that the iOS app on my iPhone and iPad will no longer allow me to schedule recordings when I'm away from my TV.

The message from the app is "no compatible TiVo boxes found." It also clearly says "this app only works with TiVo Roamio, Tivo Premiere, TiVo HD/series 3DVRs, and Tivo Mini.

I don't understand what's going on. I've checked my account and both of my boxes are activated and working.

Am I missing something?
