Connection Interrupted since 8/27

Hi there, every since the TiVo last upgrade in August, my TiVo Premiere 4 (on a Lifetime Service) account has not been able to connect to the TiVo service. So basically my box is dead.

I have been working with Support for 3+ weeks and we have not made any progress. I had to contact my ISP to open ports and UDP ports twice but basically when it is Getting Info, it gets stuck on "downloading" and then I get the N11 error. TiVo support even had me go and get new cables.

Anyways, the last thing TiVo offered me was an exchange which would cost me $90+ tax for another TiVo Premiere 4. After arguing a bit they lowered it down to $50 but I still disagree. Plus they cannot guarantee that the new one would work.

Any suggestions or steps that I can do before I scrap this.
