New TiVo user here who just got it 1 week ago. My kids hog up the TV screen watching their shows (which is fine) and I needed a way to access some of my programs while I'm on the treadmill in the basement. I heard about built in streaming options on the Romaio and purchased it after extensive discussion with the sales rep.
Unfortunately, the "watch on iPhone" option never shows up on my TiVo app. Everything else seems to be working fine. I can set up one pass, delete recordings, control the TiVo using software remote, etc. It just won't stream.
Called customer support 3 times and talk to them for 45 minutes. They go through the same scripted talk without any luck. The last agent actually asked me a question about how to access previously purchased app on iTunes store :eek:
My set up is as follows:
Fiber optic cable --> modem --> Airport Extreme --> TiVo (ethernet).
I've tried everything to get streaming to work. I'm still in the return window period and wonder if I should just return the TiVo and go to either Bolt/ask for exchange or consider the Tablo.
