Need help with OTA and older TiVos

I'm a tad out of the loop when it comes to the whole cord-cutting thing, and was wondering if anyone could chime in.

As you can see in my signature, we now have 4 TiVos. The Series one was just recently sunsetted, and the Lifetime transferred over to the Bolt.

My question is regarding the remaining two: the Series 2 (which also has lifetime, is now on dialup, and has taken the place of the original TiVo 1 in the same bedroom upstairs,) and the Series 3 (which is the first OLED-type, also has lifetime, and has had it's capacitors and power supply replaced. This is the one that required 2 cable cards to work properly...)

I believe both the Series 2 and 3 will work with antenna as an option. My question is would just hooking up an antenna to either pull in any channels OTA, or would they require some sort of digital converter box in between to make sense of the digital signal.

My GUESS is that the.... Series 3 (HD, OLED) box WOULD work fine with no cable cards, connected directly to antenna and a re-run of system setup, but the Series 2 (SD) would not, and would require some type of adapter, but what type of adapter if this is the case?

What say all of you?
