Tivo that lost its serial number /error #51

Hello guys, I have a tivo s3 hd and i had to format my hard disk and dump in it a virging tivo s3 image found on the internet. That caused my tivo to lose its serial number in system info and i now have the error messange #51 in playlist.
I have tried to use 51killer.tlc but with no success. The scripts tells me that it is done and to reboot but when i do that , i still have the error #51 message.
I tried then the solution of erasing all the info, tv guide etc on tivo, but now i get stuck on a msg saying that there is no service for my zipcode ......
I read that this message is due because of the new tivo guide update that freezes and block your tivo when installing on a tivo t that does not have the a tv guide to install the last update on.
What is the solution i have?
