Aaargh, is my XL4 dead?

Woke up this morning to a static "just a few more minutes" screen. I waited about five minutes hoping it was just coincidentally rebooting. Finally I pulled the plug. With it repowered I got the Welcome screen, then it just went to a black screen, nothing!



Any hope? It's only about a year old.
