Upgrade questions

It's time to replace my series 2. It looks like it'll be a Roamio. We're Dish subscribers so I don't care how many channels I could record if I had cable, I'm stuck at one at a time. (so the basic Roamio) My wife records sewing/craft shows; I record old movies and football (Go Cougs). I use KMTTG to download and then convert using VideoReDo and copy to a Roku. So I don't need a lot of storage on the DVD. (Again the basic Roamio)



Is there any reason why I should go for the Plus or the Pro over the basic Roamio? Isa there something besides number of channels or storage that I'm missing?
