Control soundbar with Tivo remote?

I have an RCN Tivo Premiere and a Sony HT-C60 soundbar hooked up to my Philips TV. I'd like to be able to control the volume of the soundbar with the Tivo Premiere remote, rather than with the separate Sony remote. Is this possible? Thanks so much!
