Looking at the Roamio products and understand they have over the air (maybe CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX,TNT, SpikeTV - these come to mind.
We want to basically drop out $200 bill with Comcast - they did offer Internet Plus / HBO/ Streampix - $79.00 +5 / $10 for HD - we have a contract til Feb 2015
We have a Series 2 and Series 3 lifetime support. I am working on the TiVo Desktop to copy the shows and then we can watch them also on Roku
We have a Tivo Series 2 (Tivo Series2 Selling and from reading How to prep a Series2 for Selling is seems it is OK.
Comcast offered Internet Plus / HBO/ Streampix / Local Channels for between $84-$79. I don't care for streampix.
I would like to get a Roamio with a Lifetime service but glancing around, I am not sure that is a possibility.
I did see
Now would that mean we could get rid of the Series 3 (lifetime service)
There are just so many options and we can get the cable blast and modem for $94.00. Qwest says they have a dedicated like but I did a bandwidth test, and came up with 26.8 download, and 8.53 upload - (we are in Colorado and use a server in Dulles, VA). Changing to Dallas, 30.72 download and 8.83 upload. (I did not use Comcast but Internet Speed Connector.
So let's see:
Downstairs, everything is hardwired, upstairs everything is wireless.
Thank you!
