The World Series is my favorite sporting event. This year I will not be able to watch the final two games, should it go 7, until the following weekend. Assuming that I am able to avoid spoilers about the outcome from news media, friends, the internet, etc, it occurred to me that my Tivo recordings would spoil it for me anyway!
For instance, say I setup a season pass for MLB or the World Series. I watch game 5, after which of course one team will be up 3-2. Then, the following Sat, I go to watch game 6. If there is only one recording in my queue, I know it only went 6 games and I know who won before I watch. If there are two recordings I know it went 7 games so, again, I know who won game 6!
I thought of setting up manual recordings but I've done that with other shows and Tivo still displays the show title in the queue.
It's a conundrum I tell ya!
