Last night I discovered that TWC LA had changed their entire channel line up.
I initiated a connection with Tivo thinking that I'd get the latest changes from them but nothing came over.
I called Tivo just now and was told by tech support that I need to initiate a guided setup in order to bring the channels over.
a) This doesn't sound right to me. Shouldn't Tivo just send over the changes to my units? The guided setup will take a lot of time as I recall. I'm not looking forward to this at all!
b) If this is the case, where are the emails from Tivo telling me to do this? I mean I get emails regarding sales; new product releases; surveys; etc. Nothing about this came over.
