I started watching a new show on PBS the other night. It's a 6 part documentary hosted by Steven Johnson called How We Got to Now. (I'm guessing based on his book)
It seems pretty interesting. Reminds me a bit of the show connections, but is looking more at the social impact of certain key inventions.
