OK, I'm sure people have asked this before, but I don't see really an exact answer to what I'm looking for, so sorry if my forum search fu is weak.
I have a gigabit ethernet network. I also have a ton of devices on it:
4 apple tvs
Imac
Desktop
Printer
NAS
ps3
ps4
Xb1
connected bluray
smart TV
Roamio pro
4 tivo minis
as well as 3 ipads, iphones, 3 laptops, and a few other connected devices on the wireless n portion.
Will using my Roamio to make a MOCA network for just itself and the 4 Minis cut down on my network traffic for the other devices when I'm using them for Roamio to Mini streaming?
BAsically is the MOCA going to segment my network, or is it just acting like a media converting switch?
