And the frustration with Comcast begins

I have everything set up with my new Roamio, just waiting for Comcast to hook up the old connection they had prior to my changing to DirecTV. They just need to unplug the DTV cable and plug in theirs, hook up the new cable modem and put in the cable card. The installer came out and didn't know he needed a cable card. I told him I was going to use MoCa. He had never heard of it. I told him it is what they use on their X1 system. I asked him if they were going to put a POE filter on the line. He said they only put those on if they are doing an X1 install.

I hate that I have an installer that doesn't have a clue about Tivo's or MoCa. I will bet good money that he won't be able to get the cable card working. Now I remember why I got off Comcast. But since this is the only way I can have Tivo, I need to tolerate it for a while.
