I'm a recent cable cutter. I live in an apartment, and I just purchased a TiVo Roamio and two Minis. I am only using an OTA antenna for channels (no cablecard). My current setup has the cable modem and router in the same room as my Roamio:
Wall coaxial > cable modem > router > Roamio
I am now needing to create a MoCA network for my Minis. The TiVo website doesn't really help me out much when it comes to the 4 tuner Roamio and a MoCA network. I've searched and searched... but I haven't had any success.
Will I need one or two MoCA adapters?
Will I need a MoCA POE filter? Where will I need to install it? I live in an apartment, so how will this be different than someone setting it up in a single-family home?
What will my setup look like to get everything working?
