Has anyone experienced this?
I was recording NASCAR programs on Fox S1 network on Saturday. I normally have a 3hr extender on it. Well it was recording the Qualifying session w/ the 3hrs and the race as well. Not a big deal. I decided I wanted to stop and delete the qualifying, as there was no reason to have it.
As soon as I did it, Fox S1 started coming up w/ the 'You are not authorized to view this channel (v58)' message. I was recording other things at the time, so I didn't want to reboot. Thankfully I still have one of my TiVoHD boxes setup there and it was set to record the NASCAR races so I switched over to it.
Later I decided to check if it came back, nope, I was still recording stuff so I let it be. I figured I'd check and see if it came back after going into low power overnight. I checked the next morning and it still had the same 'You are not authorized (v58)' message. I decided to power cycle it and sure enough it came back.
My big question has anyone else experience this issue when deleting a program that is live recording. Also, was it with an overlap recording on the same channel?
Personally, I have regularly killed programs while live recording on my TiVoHD w/o any problems. Especially Sunday nights during football season w/ CBS programming. I've got the last one of the night set to record an extra hour because of the potential of Football games running long and pushing everything out. I usually catch up to the last shows end close to real time so it's still got an hour on the clock and I just stop the recording and deleting it. I don't want this to cause me to need to power cycle my DVR everytime. I hate the need to power cycle them in the first place.
