Mad Men - "Lost Horizon" - 5/3/2015

So the poop has really hit the fan now. So much "sellers" remorse for our gang. The women, Peggy and Joan are realizing how much of an "old boys" place that McCann is. Joan fights for her client, but basically is brushed by two men who don't respect her. One lower level flunky who cares nothing about her relationship with Avon and another who just wants to sleep with her. She goes to the big boss who blows her off as a "bitch" and has WAY more clout than her. Roger as I figured is feeling completely left out, takes the money and regrets it, has zero power in the new firm and is just playing out the string. And Don pulls one of his whims looking for the luncheonette gal (who we realize is the female version of Don more and more) and he's about to realize that his magic is not going to work with McCann the way it did with Roger.

And there looks like there's still a little spark between Don and Bets.

I thought it was a pretty good episode and I expect the last two to be pretty explosive.
