Starting a new series, want episodes starting at #1

So the wife and I made the jump to get OTA a month ago. Prior to getting an antenna up had just Netflix and Amazon Prime before and would wait a year or so to watch series.

Not having to deal with commercials since my first Tivo in 2002, I just couldn't handle going back. It's the same reason why I refuse to get Hulu Plus - even with a free 30 day trial I had to turn it off after a show.

Our Roamio OTA arrived Monday and we got it all hooked up and created OPs for all our favorite shows.

However, as an example, shows like Bones are mid-season right now. We've already watched up to S9 via Netflix. Is there a way to tell it to start recording from S10E1 forward, but don't bother getting the brand new stuff on right now? Just not sure what is the best option, and I don't want to watch them out of order.

I suppose what we could do is get all the S10E19+ stuff on now, but not watch them, and mark KUID. My concern is we'll run out of disk space. However, I have ordered a 3TB drive I plan to swap in (and backup/restore stuff with kmttg), so perhaps it won't be a big deal.

We do have it set to start with S10 at least, and record N&RR.

Thoughts? There are just a number of shows that we're in the same boat. It won't be a big deal as new seasons start up, but for now we're trying to sort out what we should do.
