Well, they did the same thing they did last season with no elimination in the penultimate episode and all four teams being told they are racing to the finish line and the final leg starts "NOW."
I wonder how much time Mike & Rochelle lost by having their taxi break down? You know when the show focuses on the taxi having a hard time starting and the contestants commenting about it that it means the car is definitely breaking down.
That tile mosaic wall looked really cool. I'm pretty surprised that none of the teams seemed to take very long to find the clue. It's possible they just edited it that way, but I'd think that if it took one (or more) team(s) a really long time on that task, it's something they'd show us.
I was very surprised that Mike & Rochelle got to the bricks task, started doing it, and then decided to switch. They knew they were in last place at that point. Why take the extra time to drive to another task and have to start all over? I guess their reasoning was probably that they felt they wouldn't be able to pass Tyler & Laura on that task, but at the same time, Tyler & Laura were probably about done with the brick task by the time M&R even arrived to the dancing task. And given how badly M&R did on that slow-mo stepping dance early in the season, I don't know why they thought they'd be able to perform a dancing task quickly.
Overall, it was a pretty boring leg, with all the teams finishing in the same order they started and hardly any situations where the teams even interacted with each other.
Hopefully the finale next week in Dallas will be exciting.
