I've used Tivo with an outdoor antenna since 2008 (had an HD for several years and now a Premier) and have recently started having reception problems. Some channels that we always got don't tune at all and many that were always clear are now pixellated. At first we thought the antenna was maybe damaged from being outside for over 11 yrs so we replaced it, but the problems continue. We've also now realized that the reception on the other TV connected to the X-box is still perfect so it seems the signal is getting into the house ok.
Before we start messing with the wiring (it was done 10yrs ago for Dish. We just installed our antenna on the same mast and is going to be a pain to get to), is it possible that this is actually Tivo related?
Interestingly, when I turn on the strength meter and tune to one of the major network local channels that now doesn't tune at all, it shows a bright green bar that often goes up to 100, but then says "digital signal acquired (no signal on tuner one)"
Any help would be appreciated. It's very annoying to find that recorded programs are missing or unwatchable!
