I think the title speaks for itself, but one of my TiVoHD boxes died on me and I'm replacing it with a Roamio plus.
I was wondering if anyone with experience with this has simply moved the cable card / paired / and called the cable company (Comcast in my case) and had them connect it to the new box?
I recall when I first moved from my Sony DHG 500 to my TiVoHD box in June 2007, I had to return the existing card and get a new card for the TiVoHD box. There's no logical reason to have done that to my knowledge, but I was wondering if I should just return my existing card and get a new one to avoid any hassles?
