As some of you have discovered, if you have a subset of your OnePass recordings marked "Keep Until I Delete" at the point your Guide Data is transitioned, then those recordings start counting toward the total recordings that are kept for your OnePass. (Prior to the transition, they were considered outside of the OnePass limit.)
If the number of recordings that you set as "Keep Until I Delete" meet or exceed your "Keep At Most" number of episodes, then it has the unintended consequence of not keeping any NEW recordings that are made. (They end up going directly to recently deleted folder.)
IF YOU HAVE NOT YET HAD YOUR GUIDE DATA TRANSITIONED then you can take the following step to avoid this problem:
- Manually change every KUID recording to "Keep Until Space Needed" and then immediately set it back to "Keep Until I Delete" (sorry, I know this is a pain). It will no longer count as part of the OnePass.
You may also want to temporarily turn of "Auto Record TiVo Suggestions". This will allow shows in your Recently Deleted folder to stick around longer, so you can verify that nothing ends up there unexpectedly.
IF YOU HAVE HAD YOUR GUIDE DATA TRANSITIONED you can still use the KUID > KUSN > KUID trick above to get them out of the OnePass limit.
I apologize for this inconvenience.
