I just got a replacement cablecard and I put it into my Bolt+ and have NOT called Comcast to pair it. However, everything seems to be working fine. I've read so many issues about pairing that I'm wondering how this could work without even being paired. The reason I don't want to pair it is I'm getting a replacement Bolt + in a few days and I'd rather not go through the process of unpairing and then pairing.
