How do I list an ancient DVR as inactive?

I have not been a TiVo user since DirecTV abandoned them many years ago. I have switched to cable and have decided to use TiVo equipment. I see I already have an account but there is an ancient DVR from the turn of the century(2000). How do I list this DVR inactive in my TiVo account? or Better yet delete it entirely?
