Series 5 Roamio HDMI Port is Dead....

Long story short....my Roamio Series 5 HDMI Port is dead. I did all the prerequisite troubleShooting. You name it I did it. Called Tivo support and got the same canned answer for the "KNOW Issue" that's been haunting the Roamios since 2008 with dead hdmi ports.

Instead of having a new paper weight I would like to know if I can scale the composite video out to component or hdmi with a really good converter. I tried one from Amazon (composite to HDMI) and it did not work. This problem has...
