My wife has come across some missing channels. Some of which I know we used to receive. I've had a Cox "technician" out a couple of times and they want to put a Tuning Adapter in my system. (no).
After doing a little research, I come here to see if what I've found has any truth, and what can be done about my situation.
Rumor has it that there is a top-end to the tuner frequency in the TiVos, and with the addition / remapping of channels by Cox, the channels are beyond that top-end.
I have a TiVo HD and a TiVo XL (2-tuner). Does anyone know what the tuner frequency range is for these? Is there any merit in the idea above? Do newer devices, like Romio, address this?
