I got my first HD box to start my transition from Series 2 boxes to something newer. I got a Premiere (yes I know it's not a Romio) and a M cable card and tuning adapter and even after two different people on the phone I have basic channels only like PBS and CBS etc even in beautiful HD but anything in the extended package channels even in SD equal not authorized.
They are sending out a tech tomorrow to waste my time looking at signals. I used to do Satellite work, my cable testers are far better than most cable techs carry and the last one I had out a few years ago to run a new drop after a storm even commented that the cable ends and the coax cables I ran were higher quality then they have.
