hulu plus trouble

This has to be an easy fix, I hope! Watching Hulu Plus on Tivo is impossible, stuttering, stoppage, etc. Yet watching the same program using ROKU on the same tv at (almost) the same time there are no problems! Everything plays perfectly! So is this a Tivo or Hulu Plus problem? Netflix is fine! Tom
