I am moving to an area seviced by Comcast and am tired of getting killed with equipment rental fees. I've done a bit of investigation on Tivo but I have a few questions before I plunk down the cash. I currently use a Roku in my set up and would love if my Tivo could replace some key features so I don't need to use the Roku. I heavily use the Plex app for streaming from my PC. I know Tivo does not have Plex but is first any other way to stream H264 files from my PC through the MOCA network? Also, my two girls are obsessed with Sporut and the Disney Channel apps on the Roku, does Tivo have any of these or similar streaming apps for kids?
Also, I've heard that Tivo allows you to edit your channels so you never need to scroll past channels you don't subscribe to or so you can eliminate SD channels from showing up in your personal line up. Is this true? And might I also be able to renumber or reorder the channels to something that that makes more sense to me...like grouping all of the kids channels or having my more frequently watched channels come up first? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide - Steve
