It's been on for 20 minutes and it's already difficult taking a Marilyn Monroe wannabe (however gentle on the eyes she is for you guys) seriously as a high level White House top "gal." Bad enough we have her pegged as an oversexed gal-typecast.
But I find her unbelievable as a serious contender for anything, thus, IMO, miscast. From what I've seen so far, it could be a good show with someone else in Heigl's part.
People in the White House and Senate are quite well-educated and intellectually competitive, so she really grates with her repeated "where you at?" I don't believe the writers put that in for her. But anyway, another unbelievability.
I'm not sure if I'll make it to the end. I will try to like it.
