Lost HDMI connection when on/off TV

I have an Emerson flat HDTV (manufactured 2012) and a Tivo OTA (3 months new). Suddenly the connection between these two has a problem. When I turned off TV then turned on again, I lost Tivo connection. I had to either re-boot or unplug/plug HDMI cable to make connection again. It just happened a few days ago (right after TIVO released one-pass update). I have been working with (4) Tivo techs and tried all their suggestions. One tech said I need to update TV software but Emerson Tech says there is no update for this model.



Anyone have any idea what can be the problem?
