Stream setup crashes app on LG G3

There's a thread over in the Premiere forum about this, but it didn't seem to be getting any activity, so I thought I'd bring it up here. Does anybody else have an LG G3 (Android phone), and if so, does streaming work? Whenever I try to set up streaming on my LG G3, the app crashes. This is the version of the app that says it fixes a crash when setting up streaming on LG G3s (oops). It works on other devices, so it isn't the stream (in my Roamio Pro) or the network.



I opened a support ticket with TiVo, and they first said the issue was fixed (like saying that would somehow that would make it work), then said there'd be a new version of the app, 3.0, that would fix it (despite them saying there wasn't an issue?) in a few weeks (several weeks ago). I went back to my ticket last night to see about an update, and I couldn't do anything (despite the email saying I could re-open it within 30 days).



So, I opened a new ticket and referenced the old ticket number. The response I got was someone that seemed incredulous that I had a problem, and suggested that maybe my phone was the problem. I find it hard to believe that there could be something wrong with my specific phone that would cause the TiVo app to crash just during streaming setup (when no other apps, including streaming video apps, have a problem).



I was looking for an update on the app version 3.0, since the mass email about the new Roamio software and OnePass mentioned an Android app update in "spring 2015", and I would rather not have to wait months for a working stream setup.
