I'm worried about Amazon discontinuing the download option on their video service. I have an original Premiere -- not a cable provider version -- so the recent disconnect didn't affect me. But is there any other competing video service that offers downloads to the Tivo? I tried researching this and I think VUDU on the PS3 still does -- but that's not on the Tivo.
I have a fast reliable Internet connection, e.g. Netflix HD works fine, but I still prefer downloading whenever possible. With Amazon I login to their vod.amazon.com page from work, select something to download, and then I know it will be available that evening NO MATTER WHAT the condition of my Internet.
