I bought a Tivo and a mini last September and am finally setting it up (long story).
The base Roamio mostly works fine, although for some reason I don't have VUDU as an option in my "video providers", which I would like to have.
My bigger issue is my mini is stuck on the "Welcome to Tivo, starting up" screen. I have googled past threads which suggests the problem on other machines is either a hard drive (not applicable for a mini) or a power supply. Is it the power supply? Are there other trouble shooting tips I should consider?
Is the "power supply" just the plug (it has a wall wart) or is there something inside? In other words do I need to replace the entire unit potentially?
Any help is appreciated.
I tried the unit on both component cables and on a different tv via HDMI. It previously worked a few months ago when I turned it on to make sure the mini was lifetimed. After that it was sitting in a box.
