My Google TV from Logitech finally died.. after making noise, the fan finally gave out, and the tv would blank with "No signal" each time. It would reset but then would fail after about 30 minutes or so.
So, I got a Roku 3 today.. set it up pretty well, but it doesn't sit in front on my Google TV like before. I guess that's ok. The Tivo Premiere is on HDMI 2 and the Roku 3 is on HDMI 1.
Anyway, these are viewed on a SONY Bravia TV which is a bit older, model kdl40ex500. The issue is with the remote control for TiVo. I want to switch input easily so I can use 1 or 2 HDMI easily. The remote control codes on the setup, have tried them all.. I get the HDMI panel from the TV onscreen with 0067, but it just beeps when I try to change to another HDMI connection.
Anybody have a clue if that's fixable?
I may end up trying a Harmony remote sometime, to get all the TiVo, Sony Bluray player, TV, And Roku 3 on the same remote. But, for now, I'd love to get the code so my TiVo remote will allow me to change in the inputs.
