Western Digital 2TB My Book AV DVR Expander

So been reading and reading and reading but still uncertain if the Western Digital 2TB My Book AV DVR Expander WDBABT0020HBK will work and at full capacity on a non-upgraded Roamio Plus. For reasons too long to explain I cannot change out the internal hard drive.
