After boasting to a good friend for many years how great TiVo is he has decided to get rid of his FIOS boxes and to go with Roamio Pro(s) + Mini(s).
Unlike my 1 PRO + 3 Mini setup, he needs to connect to 6 TVs given he has a much larger family (including in-laws) and that easily 4 TVs can be on at any given time in the afternoon & evening.
He is planning to ditch 4 FIOS DVRs and 2 STBs, and will use the currently installed coax wires so the TiVo system will run on MoCa network created by the Pro(s).
Here is were we need help from the forum gurus:
Can the 2 Roamio Pros be integrated/meshed so to give the appearance of one system, i.e. one big "My Shows" and have the 5 satelite Minis see all/both at the same time and have the system/netwok use the 12 tuners all at once if need be?
If not, what is the optimal way of setting the TiVos up to maximize tuner and DVR recordings accessability for 6 TVs at once?
