Streaming away from home network

Hi All,

I have a question, if I cancel my cable and move my Tivo box to my parents home is there anything to stop me from watching content remotely? They have the same provider, I just rarely watch TV and tired of paying $100 a month.. It's a roamio plus with lifetime subscription..
