So I just hooked up my new Mini. I understand that the pro's here already know this, but I have to let the novice know also.
If you get a Mini, you will absolutley need a 4 or 6 tuner TiVo DVR.
You must use a wired connection (Ethernet or MoCA) to connect to that DVR through your home network.
Wireless networking to that DVR is not supported by TiVo.
Keep in mind one extra fact:
The TiVo Mini, once working properly with that 4 or 6 tuner TiVo DVR, can now access a dual tuner Premiere DVR that the 4 or 6 tuner TiVo DVR can access and stream those recordings. This also includes wireless connected dual tuner premieres and up.
TiVo.com kind of leaves this out and others might not go for a Mini thinking that it won't work at all with dual tuner Premieres and also if their wireless.
