For a couple of years, my Roamio Pro on Fios had no issues...all my channels come in with excellent PQ even though signal strength is in the low-mid 70 range.
Lately (the last few weeks), ESPN, ESPN2 have some pretty noticeable picture and sound issues. Sure enough, signal is in the high 60s. HBO is a little affected, but not as much. It turns out that ESPN and ESPN2 use the same QAM frequency (high 200000s) and HBO uses the low 300000s. Channels at higher frequencies are fine.
So, in attempt to troubleshoot, I'm going to look at connections, splitters, and cables. Is there anything else it could be? The TiVo? The Cablecard? External interference? Looking for some ideas. Thanks!
