I'm totally new to tivo. My setup is one bolt and three minis. I am coming from Comcast X1 platform.
I really just have a few questions.
1- Plex @ 1080? My old school bluray can stream 1080 just fine. As well as my rokus. I unhooked my Rokus while hooking up everything. Damn it.. I hope it's in the works. Other wise unified gimp entertainment center.
2- mega compression of channels compared to x1?
3- max mini to bolt? I'm guessing 3 because 4 tuner.
4- 4k limited to Netflix and Amazon?
5- no kids section similar to kids zone on x1? Kids zone by far is epic, well for comcast at least. Or at least a continuous play feature on demand? I might have to keep a damn comcast box or return my tivos.
So far I like the idea of tivo, just don't love it. The comcast on demand gui is a freaking joke. Maybe it could look like plex, that would truly be amazing. :D
