The Night Of - "Ordinary Death" - S01E07 8/21/16 *spoilers*

Wow, Naz has really gone off the deep end in Rikers. Even if we find out in the finale that he truly was an innocent, mostly good kid leading up to the night in question, this whole ordeal has turned him into exactly the kind of criminal the prosecution believes he is.

Again, more evidence of shoddy investigating by Stone, as he doesn't notice the picture of the asthma inhaler until late in the trial. Procedural rules would have required that the defense had copies of those pictures months, or at least several weeks, before trial began.

Chandra seemed to do pretty well in court, especially with her star expert witness, but she screwed up pretty bad when she got surprised by the teacher stating that Naz had sent two different kids to the hospital, not just the one that everyone thought. More evidence of shoddy trial preparation.

Are they setting us up to believe that the step-father killed Andrea? If so, that just seems like it would be too obvious an ending. But if it's anyone else at this point, it will come completely out of left field and the whole series leading up to this point will be kind of moot.

Box seemed like he was kind of rattled about the pieces of the investigation that Chandra asked him about that he didn't know. I predict that's going to eat at him enough that he won't be able to let it go, although I'm not sure how much digging he can legally do at this point if he's officially retired.

I sure hope the cat and the feet have something to do with the ultimate resolution of the case.

Apparently the finale next Sunday is over 90 minutes long, so plan accordingly.
