[Caveat: not all markets show all hours, so YMMV]
There are three segments to the Today Show, 7-9am, 9-10am, 10-11am. Previously, they were all the same show ID. So if you set an SP for the Today Show, Keep 3, you would get three shows each day, and not three days of shows. Since I like to keep three days, I set my keep quantity to 10.
Starting about a week ago, they are now all unique shows, with different show IDs. The middle segment actually has a unique name (Today's Take), but the last hour is still called "Today". However, the old SP now only records the first two hour segment. If you want the next two segments (one hr each), you need to create new SPs.
And if you had a large Keep Qty number set like I did, for the sole purpose of getting 2-3 days, you can now change it to a real number.
I noticed this change on both Comcast, affecting my TiVo SP, and DirecTV, affecting Series Manager.
